Robot Saga – Big Hit on Big Fish Games

I’ve got great news! Robot Saga: Escape is the third most popular game in the Action & Arcade genre on Big Fish Games! It’s got about 7,300 views as of now, and is the 10th most popular online game on the entire site. We had a non-exclusive license agreement that gave me some extra cash in my pocket, as well. Check it out: http://www.bigfishgames.com/online-games/5894/robot-saga/index.html

Here’s a screenshot of my game on the bigfishgames.com homepage…in three places!

    Congratz on epic game :D

You might want to alter the mouse speed with this: http://avoidergame.com/2009/06/29/as3-mouse-follow-constant-speed/
for mouse is far easier than keyboard, seeing you can put your mouse on one side, loop it around the screen, and then warp to the other side XD

Other than that, it’s a great game. There could still be some updates to make (your kongregate rating is pretty low, although most people who rate games are trolls, noobs, and point hoarders who rate everything 1 or 5 XD)

Oh yes, found something else: When I press “p” again after pausing, it gives me game over, when I click the menu and restart buttons, they dont work, and flash the screens a lot. I have no idea how I did it, but the bug came out like that somewhat.

Yup, that’s a known bug that I’ve been looking to crush for a long time. I’m having trouble finding out how to remedy the problem, however, because the two alternate pause methods I’ve tried didn’t work. It’s an issue with the GameTimer, I think. I’m going to try and work with Michael J. Williams to get this nasty bug resolved so that I can use the code for another game or make a sequel to this one. Thanks for the report, though!
